Phuket, Thailand - Day 1

So we are all packed and ready to take off to Phuket, Thailand. At the last minute we weren't sure weather to take public transport or drive to LCCT Airport. So as we were about to leave we were like why the heck go thru all the trouble so we just drove to Lcct Airport, we park at the free parking area in front of Tune Hotel. It was a bit of a walk to the terminal but wasn't all bad, despite the hot sun and uneven roads.
As soon as we arrive we headed to the information center to check on our flight status, just then my mom and brother had just arrived at LCCT Airport as well. So we checked in our luggage's as we had already done online check in the night before. Then we headed to have a quick lunch at ASIAN TASTE restaurant. Then we had to rush in for immigration and proceed to waiting area to board the plane. Everything went on so fast as we didn't have to wait in line or anything. So after boarding the plane and after took off we had to fill in entry form just as i finished we were gonna lend at Phuket, Thailand International Airport.
So as we arrived at the airport our driver from the hotel was waiting for us with a big sign, funny in away cause it took us back a funny memory when we were in Bali, Indonesia. Well that's is the past now back to here, so we were picked up in a VIOS and its was a 45 drive to the Hotel which is located at Patong Beach. We stay at 7Q Hotel which was located as Prabaramee Road, Patong Beach read more about this hotel under my hotel review section.
The whole drive to the Patong Beach area, we could see clearly all the cables just hanging about. According to our driver Phuket always have fire due to their arrangement of cables. Sometimes you can see sparks coming out of it.
As soon as we reached we checked in and headed up to our room, had a really needed shower and rest. After our rest we headed out for dinner, walked on the streets but we could not find any shops that interest our taste buds so we landed up eating in the hotel cafe which was on the roof top in front of the swimming pool facing the ocean.

After dinner we took a walk downstairs and visit the 7-11 there as we know it was so different then the one in Malaysia. Here are somethings I found that we don't have in Malaysia.
I must say Phuket on the 1st day looking good.

Phuket, Thailand - Day 2

Waking up in Phuket, BTW Phuket is 1 hour behind Malaysia time so it was weird waking at 7 am and seeing the sky so bright and shinning. We had an early start, ate breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast we headed straight for the beach. Strolled the beach with hubby, found and caught many things by the beach. 1st we saw a blue color jelly fish, it looked like a bottle cap with blue treads hanging. Then a bit more into the walk we saw a fish swimming by the shore, I can proudly say I caught a fish with my bare hands. Then a bit more of the walk I caught a crab and all this I have pictures to prove it.

After the stroll we decided its time to play a prank on my brother, we told him we had paid for the paragliding activity. Knowing he is a afraid of heights but so proud of him that he manage to over come and enjoy it. Then after all this we got wet, so were trying to fight with the waves and screaming and really enjoying every moment under the sun knowing we were getting burn. Wouldn't mean much if we were on an island and not be sun burn, after all the madness we headed back to the hotel, showered and going thru all the brochures trying to figure out what to do for tomorrow. The prices in the brochures are way more expensive then walking into any tour booths around Phuket area.
Since we could not find anything in the broucher, Hubby and I decided to go roam around on a scooter knowing mum and bro wanted to get a nap. Riding around in a scooter in Phuket is awesome, you guys should try it. The rental is 200 baht per day, sometimes you will get the scooter with a full tank or empty one. If empty you need to buy gas which is 40 bath per bottle which you will need at least 4 bottles for a full tank. One full tank can last you 2days as Patong Beach area is not as big as the map looks.

We riding around and decided to stop to get some shopping done, there are many stores all around you can literary go flat broke in a minute. Well we bought some shades and a hat, then we went hunting for halal restaurant as we were not to sure if the hotel food is halal or not. Well we found one and the food is yummylious plus they have a varieties to choose from. We had one heavy lunch so we decided to burn out off by shopping and ridding around.

Then we stopped by Starbucks and bought mummy a cake as it was her birthday and the whole reason this trip. But sadly she preferred to spend her time in the hotel room all the while.

Anyways, then we headed back to the hotel had showered and headed to have our to dinner at Ghadaffi, which is a halal and well know restaurant. We rode in a TUK-TUK which is like a small lorry converted into a pimped out car. We had fish, prawns, Tom Yam, vegetable and local salad, see the pictures as per below.

After dinner we took mum out to Bangla Road, to do some shopping and look around. After that we took TUK-TUK back to our hotel. Once we dropped off mum and bro, hubby and I went out again on our scooter and sight seeing and took cool picture. NO shopping done.
