Bali, Indonesia - Day 6

Us Cam Whoring in The Flight Early In The Morning.

The last and finial day at Bali, Indonesia. It was so sad to leave the shopping and beach heaven, anyhow our flight was at 6.30 am so we booked a cab the night before. When we bordered the flight we dam hungry so as soon as they announced that they will be going around and we could start ordering, I immediately took out my purse and looking at the back and hoping they would reach out seating quick. As soon as they came we ordered Nasi Minyak and Hot Coco, and the best part within split seconds our food finish hehhehe.

Our Food.
As we flying I guess somewhere in the Indonesia state, the plane flew right above a volcano it was such a magnificent view. Everyone was like "Oh my god look Volcano". Then gradually everyone fell asleep except for us, the whole fligt home was so quiet compared when we were heading to Bali.

The Beautiful Volcano.

As we were approaching LCCT in Kuala Lumpur, we got a overview look on Putrajaya as they needed to make a U-Turn to get on the track for landing. It was sad knowing we have reached back home so quick, and that holiday was over welcome back to work or better describe as hell!!!

Bali, Indonesia - Day 5

Hubby Making A Tourist Walk Down The Kuta Beach Road.

This was an extremely exciting day, we when and did water sports at NUSA DUA. But before headed to NUSA DUA we stopped at KUTA BEACH, walked around and took pictures somehow the beach wasn’t that nice as I taught it was.

At Kuta Beach, But I have NO idea How He Got IN the Picture.

Anyhow after that we made our way to NUSA DUA, the journey was about 45 minutes so we both sneak a short nap in the car. As soon as we reached we great by all the agents who sell packages for water sports. We didn’t do much we did the parasailing and banana boat, the parasailing was so fun. Form the top we could see the whole of NUSA DUA area which was so lovely, and banana boat was great it was like any banana boat rides anywhere.

The Banana Boat Ride.
From here we headed straight to DREAMLAND BEACH, which is supposed to be the most beautiful beach in whole of Bali. As soon as we got there were a couple of people approached us asking if we wanted to rent the beach chairs for 100 thousand Rupiah per chair, which I feel was very unreasonable so we didn’t take. Instead as soon as our eyes saw the beach we feel instantly feel in love with it, we striped down to our swimming wear and jumped into the water. The water was extremely cold thou it was about 12 in the afternoon, the cold was a calming type of cold not freezing kind. We spend about tow to three hours there before heading back to the hotel.

We were so wet and dirty, so we had a shower then a short nap. Then we headed to the spa and had a traditional Balinese Massage, it was good alright. After dinner we rented a scooter and for a last round of shopping and viewing. We actually got lost on our way back to the hotel even after the receptions drew us a map, it was so scary and dark. But thank god we found our way back to the hotel.

Bali, Indonesia - Day 4

We started the day early we had to leave the hotel by 8 am, after breakfast we headed off straight to Batu Bulan where we watched the BARONG dance. I am a bit confused about what they were using it’s a costume or puppets hmmm… but anyhow it was really cute and nice. The show was about and hour, then we just tour the area took some pictures and headed off to SARI AMERTA where the driver said it was cheaper to shop there for the same things sold at KUTA cause it was more expensive, so as soon as we got down we started to shop for this and that and this and that, we spend quiet a lot but its nothing compared to shopping in MALAYSIA.

The Barong Dance

WE bought quiet a lot of souvenirs, clothes, decorations and what not, then form there we headed to a place where they CELUK BATIK. The art work was nice and different, but some how to me I preferred the ones in MALAYSIA better. We bought a pair of slippers for Hubby’s nephew, and from here we headed off to a different place where they did silver, and I tell the amount of hard work you have to do in making even a simple pendent or earrings, was really interesting but they were pretty quick in doing maybe because they were doing it for ages now. By the way all the items here were sold in UDS.

The Silver Making Process

Then we stopped at a coffee tasting place I totally forgotten the name of the place, but we got to taste many kinds of drinks and it all taste so good. The retail price of the items we tasted were really expensive even our driver told us not to buy it there. After visiting these tow places we made a short stop to this place where they grow coffe and coco, here they provied free tasting session of all their drink and it was so yummy but the retail prices we dam expensive so we didn't buy any.

Then we visited a holy temple (I totally fortotten the name) where we had to wear a piece a cloth to cover our self before entering the place, hubby had fun because of all the nice pictures that can be taken in detail.

From here we just headed back to the hotel, we showered rested had dinner and headed out shopping around KUTA area again. We shop around KUTA area every night so you can only imagine how much of things we bought. After our little shopping spree we when back and crashed pretty early actually because we were so tired.

Day Three.

We got up early and headed downstairs to the cafe for breakfast, after breakfast we headed to the hair shop and got my hair done. It took them tow hours, but the out come was really nice because all the braids was the same size and was fine…..oh and so so nice…

Then we rushed back to the hotel changed and the driver picked us up, we book for a half day tour called Tanah Lot Sunset Tour. We left our hotel at around and our journey to Begudul was about 2 hours, the place was so wonderful but sadly we didn’t get to tour inside the place as our tour didn’t include it. We just pass this place to get to Pura Ulu Danu, this place is like a recreation park right on top of a hill near at the dam where they have a few water sports and boat rides.

After that we made a short stop at Pasar Batu Riti, here are where all the farmers from the hills come and sell their harvesting in order to support them we bought strawberries and took some pictures of the place. Then from here we just drove by Alas Kedaton and straight headed for some HALAL food. We been looking high and low near KUTA area but we could find we were just too blind when all this while its was just behind Starbucks at LEGIAN. The driver took us to get some lunch NASI PADANG and it was yummylious.
This was our Lunch Nasi Padang

From here we rushed to TANAH LOT, this is the place where they have the temple on the water we reached there in time to take some pictures and to watch the sunset, I tell it’s so beautiful. We sat on the highest peak and the TANAH LOT area right beside the beach and enjoyed the sunset. It was so specular and we were glad we got to see it. I also managed to get a temporary tattoo of a dolphin on my arms.

After that we headed back to our hotel, showered changed and headed out to catch the night live in KUTA. Their night life is a bit different and the best part there is no cover charges. Its a bit wild I might say but all the foreigner who go there seem to enjoy themselves so what can I say right.

Bali, Indonesia - Day 2

Bali Breakfast
*according to hubby*

We woke early and headed to the cafe for what hubby call’s BALI BREAKFAST :), then headed back to our room packed up and shifted to thee other hotel that we had made bookings for tow nights AQUARIUS HOTEL. This hotel was much much more better then the first one, this hotel was more like a 3 start hotel. After we checked in we when out walking looking for tour guides, we found this one agency who we bought the half day tour since it was already going to be . The tour guide was supposed to pick us up at , so while waiting for tour we walked around and we I mean me saw this shop where they do hair braids. So I made an appointment to do my hair the next day because we didn’t have much time to do on the same day. Then we headed to Express Deli for lunch we had sandwiches and straight back to our hotel to get ready and get some rest before the tour. Sharp our tour guide came.

Our Sandwiches Club and Chicken Sandwich with Ice Lemon Tea and Orange Juice

From our hotel we headed straight to GWK ( Garuda Wishnu Kencana ), this is the latest addition to places of interest in Bali. According our tour guide this is going to be the largest culture park once it’s fully ready. Then the Monkey Temple, this temple is guided with hundreds of monkeys as we enter the place, we are advise to keep anything hanging or shinning for visible view to the monkeys. They will grab anything shinning to their eyes, we toured the temple and as the sun was about to set we headed to the stage area for the Kecak Dance. The Kecak Dance is supposed to be a dance about fighting evil, the performance was really entertaining the duration of the show was about and hour plus. From here we headed straight to JIMBARAN for a romantic seafood dinner exactly on the beach, I really got to admit all the food was extremely fresh and YUMMY. The price was a bit expensive but it was worth it, the huge coconuts drink was D-E-L-I-O-U-S we were so full.
