___________* Its a postdated post mind it *_____________
Last Sunday 18 of May 2008, we took up the challenged to join the JB Buzz Walker Hunt. There were 250 groups who took part in the race. We were in teams of four Aini, Ened, Hubby and myself, our teams name was WANKSTAR…. Yea I used to use this group name before with my other team members. The hunt was really a killer, we walked all around the town under the sun.
We had to gather at the Dataran in morning at 8 a.m, the race started at 9 a.m. Our fist stop was from the Dataran to the Straits view Hotel, there we had to get the next clue which would have been easy if we didn’t have to wait in with the other 250 groups. Our next clue leads us to the zoo, so from the Straits View Hotel we had to our way to Zoo on feet.
Waiting in queue to chop our passport.
At the Zoo one of us had to dive in the fish pond where the goose laid, to get the next clue. Hubby took up this task, my gosh Hubby was soaking wet and the smell mention not it was awful. The next clue lead us to the Bambi cage where again one of us had to jump in the cage into a small pond full of Bambi shit and mud In order to get a small yellow flag before we can get our next clued, Ened took up this task. So at this point we had tow people smelling like Shit (opps don’t get angry yeah!!) in our group.
From the Zoo our next clue lead us to a school up at Bukit Tinggi, we had to walk up tow hills. At this check point we had to deposit 4 chopsticks into a cylinder from a distance of 5 steps, and then we got our next clue which leads us to Menara Landmark where we had to buy the News Straits Time paper. From there our next clue leads us to City Square, where we had to buy a tumbler of Kuih Kacang, then the next thing we had to do was go and take a picture in front of the JB Buzz Walker Hunt Billboard. Then from City Square we had to proceed to Kotaraya, and find a photo shop with the name Photo Laju to get our next clue. I tell you guys at this point my legs our legs were like jelly and aching.
Then from Kotaraya, we had to make our way the St.Jude convent school, and open some lock before we could get our next clue. With trial and error we managed to open the locks, then our next was to make our way to Istana Garden which leads us counting the sultans gate fence. Then our last clue was to make our way back to the starting point, we were NO 73, out of 250 teams. What guys think not bad uh??
Oh..oh…oh….By the way Karam Singh Waliah ( if it’s the correct spelling) he was there!! We kept on making fun of him with his hand actions. Hehhe :p.
Unfortunately we did get anything, but the experiences and memory with our buddies back here in Johor before we leave for Kuala Lumpur. Thanks guys for joining us in this event, hope there will be many more even thou our whole body aches. It was really sweet memory before we leave.
