Bali, Indonesia - Day 3

Day Three.

We got up early and headed downstairs to the cafe for breakfast, after breakfast we headed to the hair shop and got my hair done. It took them tow hours, but the out come was really nice because all the braids was the same size and was fine…..oh and so so nice…

Then we rushed back to the hotel changed and the driver picked us up, we book for a half day tour called Tanah Lot Sunset Tour. We left our hotel at around 10.30 am and our journey to Begudul was about 2 hours, the place was so wonderful but sadly we didn’t get to tour inside the place as our tour didn’t include it. We just pass this place to get to Pura Ulu Danu, this place is like a recreation park right on top of a hill near at the dam where they have a few water sports and boat rides.

After that we made a short stop at Pasar Batu Riti, here are where all the farmers from the hills come and sell their harvesting in order to support them we bought strawberries and took some pictures of the place. Then from here we just drove by Alas Kedaton and straight headed for some HALAL food. We been looking high and low near KUTA area but we could find we were just too blind when all this while its was just behind Starbucks at LEGIAN. The driver took us to get some lunch NASI PADANG and it was yummylious.

From here we rushed to TANAH LOT, this is the place where they have the temple on the water we reached there in time to take some pictures and to watch the sunset, I tell it’s so beautiful. We sat on the highest peak and the TANAH LOT area right beside the beach and enjoyed the sunset. It was so specular and we were glad we got to see it. I also managed to get a temporary tattoo of a dolphin on my arms.

After that we headed back to our hotel, showered changed and headed out to catch the night live in KUTA. Their night life is a bit different and the best part there is no cover charges. Its a bit wild I might say but all the foreigner who go there seem to enjoy themselves so what can I say right.

Bali, Indonesia - Day 2

We woke early and headed to the cafe for what hubby call’s BALI BREAKFAST :), then headed back to our room packed up and shifted to thee other hotel that we had made bookings for tow nights AQUARIUS HOTEL. This hotel was much much more better then the first one, this hotel was more like a 3 start hotel. After we checked in we when out walking looking for tour guides, we found this one agency who we bought the half day tour since it was already going to be 2 pm. The tour guide was supposed to pick us up at 4.30 pm, so while waiting for tour we walked around and we I mean me saw this shop where they do hair braids. So I made an appointment to do my hair the next day because we didn’t have much time to do on the same day. Then we headed to Express Deli for lunch we had sandwiches and straight back to our hotel to get ready and get some rest before the tour. Sharp 4.30 pm our tour guide came.

From our hotel we headed straight to GWK ( Garuda Wishnu Kencana ), this is the latest addition to places of interest in Bali. According our tour guide this is going to be the largest culture park once it’s fully ready. Then the Monkey Temple, this temple is guided with hundreds of monkeys as we enter the place, we are advise to keep anything hanging or shinning for visible view to the monkeys. They will grab anything shinning to their eyes, we toured the temple and as the sun was about to set we headed to the stage area for the Kecak Dance. The Kecak Dance is supposed to be a dance about fighting evil, the performance was really entertaining the duration of the show was about and hour plus. From here we headed straight to JIMBARAN for a romantic seafood dinner exactly on the beach, I really got to admit all the food was extremely fresh and YUMMY. The price was a bit expensive but it was worth it, the huge coconuts drink was D-E-L-I-O-U-S we were so full.

After dinner we headed back to our hotel at around 8 pm or so, then showered and decided to take a walk outside for pictures and also to make arrangements for the next day tour. We finally got a tour service for the next day leaving at 10 am pick up form our hotel. Then we went back to our hotel and crashed.

Bali, Indonesia - Day 1

Our Bali Trip....

Last 26 of June 2008, hubby and me went to Indonesia, Bali for vacation. We were there for 6 days and 5 nights, and we stayed in 3 different hotels plus we used the services of 3 different drivers.

The day before we left we were running around finding for money changer, last minuet shopping for things to be brought along. We got home around 2.30 am in the morning cause we were at the cyber cafe looking for hotels for lodging, the reason why we didn’t book a hotel earlier was because a friend of ours and her partner wanted to come along but last minute they could not make it. That’s why but any how’s it was all good. Hmm…to know the whole story keep on reading….

Day one.

Our flight form LCCT, Kuala Lumpur was at 11.00 am. We woke up around 5 am to pack, the night before we were working and busy with all the arrangement so we could not pack. We left our house around 8 am took a cab to Gombak Putra Terminal station, from there we took the train all the way to KL Central and took the bus to LCCT. Our journey was about 2 hours to LCCT and another 2 hours to Bali by flight.

We arrived at Denpasar, Bali Indonesia at 2 plus, and when we got off everyone had a drive waiting for them with names and all. But we were like looking high and low for hotels, at the airport itself there were many shelves where they put all kinds of brochures for tourist. But sadly there were no brochures for hotels, so we walked out got our luggage’s and walked to the entrances. There was a counter for hotel bookings how lucky we were to get a room during peak season, we got a room at Simpang Inn exactly in Kuta area. The hotel was only 2 star standard but it was OK since it was only going to be for one day, below are the picture of the hotel.

The first day we arrived we didn’t do anything much as we were really tired, so we just went out for dinner at MAXI. Hubby was brave and curious enough to try their local delicacy, which to tell you the truth it wasn't bad at all then we did a little window shopping then straight back to the hotel. The hotels view at night was very cozy and warmth despite being a bit scary and dark.

Hip! Hip! 2009

I would like to apologize I know this post is long over due the date, but I will still write so people who read my blog to catch up with my life and on going activities will be updated. So here it goes short, simple and nice.

Let’s see how I am going to summarize the year 2008, a lot has definitely happened in my life. For starters let begin with my relationship with the most wonderful person on earth hubby, it’s been so wonderful and I won’t trade anything in the world for what I have with hubby. Secondly is I have started studying again and its going to go on for another 3 years more. Then we moved from Johor to Kuala Lumpur, moved in to a better place then what we had in Johor. Yeah we also went to Bali, Indonesia for holiday. Next I am currently jobless and been looking for a job like mad but still no luck so guys pray for me ok.

But to tell all of you guys we both have learned so much for our life together and as an individual then the other 2 years we been together. The year 2008 has brought so much of meaning in our life’s, not to say the other two year was bad, its was excellent and wonderful but 2008 there was something special to it. As people say something new and good always will come in a building and solid relationship to help make it stronger and stronger, and now I truly believe in it. *cheers*


Other then 2008, I have planned to make 2009 the best ever. I just need to make a lot of changes in my life in other words be better then I was before. Anyhow I guess that all for now, happy 2009 even thou it’s a bit late. * Hip! Hip! Hip! Hooray!!!* cheers *

Hmmm this past two days I been spending time catching up with my old colleagues, lucky me where I am working now we can use the Internet freely.

Merina is pregnant 3 months, I miss her....what a dear friend gone lost.
Priyaa gonna due for labour soon.
Freda still alive.
Bryan the annoying boy has left the place.
Ayu has also left and doing pretty well in her new work place.
Sean he is having a better life then before.
Irma getting married in May'09.
Kak Mariam is a CSO now.
Emy is still stuck in marketing.
KANG NEE the smelly and stupid boss has left, happy for the CSO.

+ Blog Action day on POVERTY +

This is such a sad topic, but is blog unite day to help reduce poverty and let’s make a difference. Did you all know everyday nearly 25,000 people die because of poverty? Sometime it’s sad because we here are enjoying ourselves spending on this and that yet there are people out there who don’t have enough money to buy food that can give them nutrition.

The main problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty. They lack the money to buy enough food to nourish them self’s. Being constantly malnourished, they become weaker and often sick. This makes them increasingly less able to work, which then makes them even poorer and hungrier. This downward spiral often continues until death for them and their families.

Here are some pictures of people who live in poverty.

TO me I think what we can do the best to improve the status of poverty is DONATIONS, yes I know all of you have heard this before but some of us just listen and forget about the whole part of joining and helping. We don’t have to go so far and help people who are in a different continental but instead in our own country there are people who live in poverty and are suffering.

Well what I think is we all the youth and working adults should start a program on our own like setting up the RM 1 per person per month. By doing this I believe we can help lots and lots of people, because the amount is not that big and I believe people won’t mind helping in as well. What you readers out there think?? Should we??
